Origin from seed from parent Taft tree planted 1915 by Mrs. Lula Cellon at Miami, Florida. A rapid grower in Florida, precocious & productive. More frost resistant than most. Fruit season Dec.-Jan. Skin almost smooth, dark, glossy green. Seed tight in cavity. Very susceptible to avocado scab. Tree: vigorous & upright, prolific & regular bearer.
