Originated at Akko Experiment Station, Western Galilee, Israel by E. Lahav, D. Zamet and S. Gazit. Seedling of Tova by unknown pollen parent. Introduced in 1995. Flesh pale yellow with green margins near the skin, buttery firm to slightly doughy at the end of the harvest season. Good flavor, somewhat nutlike but with occasional slight bitterness. Season about 6 months from end of December to June (in Israel). Tree upright and medium small without anise scent in leaves.
